NYC

We started the day with a trip to the Diana Ross Playground at Central Park.

We stopped at the Coffee Bean and Tea for an afternoon caffeine pick me up. Timing was perfect, N(2) slept for a portion of it and then I(4) passed out for about 30 minutes. We decided to check out the Times Square Toys R Us. I know, what were we thinking?

Neither of the boys was very impressed with the carousel ride, but they did love seeing a real live Minion!

We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square and N(2) enjoyed the view.

Later in the afternoon, Pablo and I(4) ventured out on their own and caught a cute photo op with a NYC cop. I just love this photo!

No trip to NYC would be complete with out an adventure to Chinatown for some “Hand Pulled Noodles” and yes, that’s what the restaurant was called.

We opted to check out Eataly instead for dinner, but did make a point to walk by our favorite Chinese Dragon.

And we loved the people watching in Times Square.

Graduation Weekend 2014–NYC bound

We left Ithaca and headed to NYC for a few days. The boys packed us up and wheeled us down to the car.

We opted to take a break in Scranton and discovered a quiet mall, but an awesome train station! Oh, yeah, and this. N(2) and I applied for a job….

We dined with Uncle J for dinner.

Pablo has worked hard the last 2 years on his MBA and we decided it would be fun for all of us to go to Ithaca for graduation weekend.

It is a beautiful campus with rolling hills and stone buildings. Almost another country. We enjoyed listening to the bells and playing soccer enjoying the 70 degree weather.

Lake Lanier 2014

Neither of the boys have been on the lake and Uncle A was excited to take us for a spin on his new boat. Waves were high and the boys loved it! Thankfully we got in a quick nap before the boatride.

What Uncle A fails to see as he plays co-captain is the grit in I(4)’s pucker. I’s on a misson.
