i love this kid. i mean, come on, who could resist this chocolate face?

i(2.5) didnt know what to make of the trampoline at first, but he really was excited about getting on it and was also excited afterwards....just not so much during.

Dad and I(2.5) decorated a wand. And I(2.5) spent the next 5 days waving it around like Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street.

My favorite part of the day was watching Super Dad pile the boys onto one stroller.

Our newest addition - NCW

The morning went just as planned, we walked into Northside at 5am, checked in and started getting prepared for the big event. I must admit that while the epi was painful, as it was last time – it was a little more bearable by the anesthesiologist who reminded me of my father’s saying, “make friends with the pain.” Lovely. 

A little nausea from the medicine, but all in all a smooth and painless experience. With IBW, I couldn’t move my toes for a long time, but this time I could feel them about 30 minutes after surgery. However, my ankles we so swollen that I looked like the elephant woman – excess fluid.

NCW welcomed us at 719am on August 14th, 2012. What a beauty! We should have trusted I(2.5) who kept saying a boys name – he knew! NCW weighed in at 6 lbs, 10 oz. and had a gorgeous full head of red hair!

We loved his first name and his middle name is in honor of his Great Uncle Cary who used to bite tushies…
