Ocoee River Rafting aka Jesse Saves Us!

Jesse and Jillian invade Atlanta and what's the first thing we do? We take them to a car show in the Ellijay Walmart parking lot. Giddie Up!

We checked into Sky High cabin in Blue Ridge on Saturday afternoon and cooked Turkey Crescents for dinner. Dawn Corleone just loved exploring the new digs. Although she didn't warn us about the racoon's - we still love her.

Sunday we rafted the Ocoee, just the 4 of us and a guide. We went through the washing machine, saved a life and sat on the edge of a cliff. Thanks to Jesse, we eventually made it off the cliff.... and then celebrated with some of Pat's Country Cooking. Git some of that Fried Chicken!

We wanted to make sure that Dawn Corleone had a river experience as well. On Monday, with jello shots in hand - Dawn, Jesse, Jillian, Paul and Edie ventured back to the river and climbed some rocks.

We might just have to make this an annual trip!

You have to love that we take care of our own. Every where we went, Oliver had beautiful women all over him. From Beerfest, to East Andrews. He was THE man!

Evan's 1st bday!

Evan turned 1 on June 12th. It's perfect to remember his birthday since it's one day after our anniversary. Thank goodness he planned it so well! Ashley bought Evan his own birthday cake, and we discovered that Evan is not a big fan of Publix cakes. A week later I heard that an ice cream cake did the trick and he loved it!
