Sunshine Weekend!

Pablo and I returned home Saturday while the boys were having a good time with Mimi and Gampa.

They came upon a carnival in Roswell with their cousins.

N Giggles

N(1.5) had a great time laughing at himself. Love this!

N’s 18th month Update

My how time flies! Mr. N is now 18 months old!

N * wears 12-18m clothing and size 4 diapers.

*has all 4 top and bottom teeth and molars are all starting to peek through his gums.

* is talking more and more everyday. Some words/phrases she uses regularly include: Mama, Papa, Dog, Por Favor (although not completely enunciated), Baba (sippy cup), Baf (aka Bath), Elmo, Up, Uh-Oh, yes, Ball, Cat, Book and many words in Spanish that I don’t know well enough to list here.

* is officially SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! Hallelujah! He goes to sleep at 7pm and wakes up around 7:00am! There are those crazy days where we get a “Mama” at 6am. thankfully, few and far between.

* takes a nap from about 11-12:30.

* loves playing with cars. He will take it upon himself to drive them around everything. He also loves looking at picture books. He will grab a book and sit down, pointing at the pictures and making his own stories. 

*has mastered climbing up onto our bed and his big brothers by pulling the sheets and throwing his leg over. Thankfully, he has not figured out how to get out of his crib. 

*fights me every time I try to cut his nails. I need to think of something to distract him better.

* loves bath time. In fact, he knows the routine. Once we finish dinner, we take a bath. I can barely get him out of his chair before he starts taking his shirt off to say “bath.”

*easily slips off his socks, sometimes when we don’t want him to.

*is destined to be an outdoorsman. He never wants to come inside and always wants to be outside.

*has a fabulous feel for a soccer ball. Must be genetic?

*loves to blow kisses. When you ask him for a kiss, he puts his cheek on your face, as though you should give him one.

*is a screamer. Loves to start a rukus that his big brother often chimes in on. I put my hands on my ears until they get it out of their system.

Pablo and I have been watching Game of Thrones and there was a single episode entitled, “Kissed by Fire.” It was used to describe red heads. Here’s our kissed by fire child. OMG!
