Casa de Weintraub–Week 0 - Permits

It took some finessing (updated survey, arborist approval, walking back and forth across the hall) with the city, but after pushing hard for the last 2 weeks, I walked out of City Hall today with this:

Lash booked us for glass blowing night in decatur. It was an awesome experience. The highlight was our crazy instructor, such an artist 

Family beach vacation 2014

Mimi and Gampa invited us to the beach this summer. We started off with a car ride and N(1.5) hard at work with his stock portfolio. 

We took a short break from the crazy traffic on 59 to stop at walmart. This is what R(3.5) and I say to traffic.

On Monday we played with the pirates and princesses at the hangout.

After we dropped Pablo at the airport for his flight, we walked the wharf and let the kddos stick their heads in crustaceans 

And finally we took some fun photos of hr kids at the beach.

We had fun this morning with our friend A and J and their kiddos C(4) and C(1.5). Weather was beautiful and we even stopped to watch some fisherman catch trout and kayaked and canoers on there paddle Georgia tour. 

We stopped for lunch at my favorite sandwich shop: fickle pickle!

Family Trip 2014–Day 3

Last night at the beach we dressed up the kids again and took to the beach.

Family beach trip to Orange Beach started like this:

Yep, trading stocks and focused kid. We stopped for a break to stretch our legs and ended up here:

Since the traffic was insane, Pablo, N(almost 2) and Cousin R(4) and I called it quits and stopped at a Walmart along the way. This is what R and I have to say to all the traffic.
