Little Man experienced his first flight this week. Flying to Florida to spend Thanksgiving with our Floridian relatives. Our first step was saying farewell to Be Be.
I know we’re all going to miss Be Be while we in Florida.
Little Man was a little turned off by the car ride where his seat was in buckled into a captains chair. What a lucky little man! We were stuck in a little bit of Atlanta traffic on the way to the airport and our typical 20 minute ride took 60 minutes. Needless to say, Little Man was not a happy camper. We whisked him from the car and had just enough time to check our bags, get through the security line and walk to the crown room so I could change him before we boarded the flight. Little Man was well behaved and ate a bottle while we were taking off. He was treated to first class travel this trip, Pablo gave up his upgraded seat so that we could be comfortable. What a great Dad! We spent the flight playing under a blanket and peek a boo. He was so well behaved, I was so proud of him. On the descent, he was a little fussy, but a bottle calmed him down and he fell asleep in my arms. It was a very pleasant experience. Of course, there is no way I could have done it alone, Pablo was such an angel.
Grandpop was at the airport to pick us up with our 5 pieces of luggage, two of which were for the Little Man (stroller and car seat). The weather gods are smiling us, it’s been 80 degrees by day and it was a perfect mid 60s at night.
